- Proven experience with network administration, troubleshooting, and support
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies
- Certifications like CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or CCENT strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with enterprise video management systems (VMS)
- Ability to install, configure, and support medium to large scale VMS deployments
- Knowledge of industry-leading VMS platforms and their key features
- Experience integrating VMS with other security systems is a plus
- Working knowledge of access control systems and software
- Experience administering and troubleshooting access control solutions
- Familiarity with integrating access control with video surveillance systems
- Hands-on experience installing and maintaining access control hardware components
- Knowledge of readers, controllers, electronic locks, request-to-exit devices, etc.
- Ability to specify and deploy access control hardware based on site requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities to interface with end-users
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability to travel to client sites as needed to deploy and support systems
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and ticketing systems
- Experience with remote support tools and technologies
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices
