Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking a Clinical Assistant for our Center City offices. This is an ideal role for students taking a gap year before attending graduate school or medical school. This will be a Monday-Friday from 6:45am -3:30pm with rotating weekends.
The Clinical Assistant's duties include, but are not limited to for greeting patients, activating patient files, and for providing support to patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with clinical procedures
  • Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
  • Maintain sterile technique
  • Clean exam rooms promptly
  • Maintain clinical supplies inventory
  • Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
  • Enter all labs and outside reports
  • Comfort patients by anticipating patient's anxieties; answering patient's questions
  • Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
  • Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice
Requirements:
  • Women's Healthcare background preferred
  • Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Occasionally work weekends, holidays
