Operates designated machine or equipment. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.This role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.This is a contingent position based on contract awardWhat You’ll DoAs a MHE Operator, you will:Operate and manage material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies.Ensure safety regulations are followed within the warehouse environment.Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.Other duties as requiredQualifications:Certification to operate Material Handling Equipment.5+ years of proven experience as an MHE operator.Understanding of warehouse safety standards.High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.Clearance: Must Possess an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph.#ECINCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT KBRA t KBR, we are passionate about our people, sustainability, and our Zero Harm culture.These inform all that we do and are at the heart of our commitment to, and ongoing journey toward being a more inclusive and diverse company.
