Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Houston, USA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with vendors and executing general mechanical engineering tasks to support our projects.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Work closely with design engineering teams to conceptualize design.
• Understanding and applying general engineering principles for Different components and systems.
• Interact with project team and work with appropriate manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers to create product specifications.
• Travel to active construction sites, vendor offices.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Oversee the implementation and testing of mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and progress reports.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university
• 7-10 years' experience working in different areas like manufacturing, Design, Vendor interaction.
• Candidate Should have worked as a Mechanical Engineer in Oil & Gas, Chemical industry.
• Candidate should possess a strong ability to coordinate with different disciplines like process, instrument, vendors as well as its constructability and cost.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
