Position Title: Data Systems and Projects Analyst - Contractor

NOTE: This is a contractor position

Duration: 6 Months + extension based on performance

Payment: $40 - $45 per hour

Position Summary

The selected candidate will collaborate with skilled data systems analysts, Product Owner, Project Managers, Development, business analysts, business teams, and customers to support ANCC systems, projects, and online learning communities, encompassing:

Projects Management

  1. Overseeing day-to-day ANCC Systems Management, providing on-the-job assistance, and troubleshooting issues with internal and external customers for Systems Maintenance.
  2. Managing ANCC Learning Communities and Enhancements, involving content review, customer Q&A responses, web maintenance, satisfaction surveys, online marketing, sales, event scheduling, announcements, and web design.
  3. Steering ANCC Projects Implementation, handling product ownership, project schedule, scope and cost management, Business Analysis Support, Change Requests Management, and prioritization.
  4. Managing ANCC Data & Reporting, including reports needs assessment aligned with departmental goals, missions, and visions. Tasks involve building data dictionaries, data cleanup, designing reports, and utilizing tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, and databases.

Collaboration And Communication

  1. Collaborating with ANA and ANCC departments, assisting with surveillance, updating, and maintenance of ANCC data systems and projects, and providing technical support to resolve issues for internal and external customers.
  2. Managing ANCC Online Communication through Learning Communities, focusing on content, design, surveillance, enhancement, and utilizing AI tools and industry best practices.

Reporting And Analysis

  1. Database Design, Management, and Reporting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
  2. Conducting Data Management, Visualization, Analytics, and Reporting using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel Pivot Tables.
  3. Developing and modifying Reporting Formats and real-time dashboards.
  4. Providing regular and ad hoc data analytics from the ANCC systems.
  5. Establishing measurable goals and milestones aligned with departmental KPIs.

Coordination And Compliance

  1. Coordinating with Marketing, Communication, IT, Membership, and other departments for online communication strategy and adopting best practices.
  2. Supporting the quality management system for ISO 9001 standards compliance.
  3. Assisting in front desk ticket resolution in coordination with vendors, IT, business teams, and external customers.
  4. Performing other duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Senior Manager for Data Systems and Projects and is part of the ANCC Team. This role has no direct reports.

Background Qualifications

  1. 5 years' experience as a Data Systems and Projects Analyst.
  2. Proficiency in Azure, SQL development, and software development.
  3. Experience in agile and software development project management, including user stories creation, UAT, QA testing, and software development using SQL and Azure tools.
  4. Competence in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel Pivot Tables for Data Management, Visualization, Analytics, and Reporting.
  5. Bachelor's degree in business administration, business studies, management, information technology, or computer science.
  6. Microsoft Azure Architect and Engineering Certification.
  7. Web Design Certification or Equivalent Experience.
