Job Summary
Ross Downing Buick GMC Cadillac is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Hammond, Louisiana. This is a full-time position offering competitive wages of $15 - $19 per hour, paid weekly. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in customer service and a deep understanding of the automotive dealership industry.
Compensation & Benefits
Employees will enjoy competitive wages of $15 - $19 per hour and be paid on a weekly basis. Team members will be eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage, matching 401k, vacation and holiday leave.
Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service to every customer, prioritize customer needs and follow-up with customers as needed
• Work with team to provide an outstanding customer experience in areas such as sales, finance, and service
• Answering customer inquiries and fielding questions
• Making appointments and scheduling services
• Utilizing specialized systems, such as the dealership’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Keeping up to date with product and service information
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers
• Follow-up with and resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner
• Handle deliveries and vehicle check-outs
• Upselling vehicles and applicable services
• Document all customer purchases, sales and complaints
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience
• Previous automotive or dealership experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult and stressful situations
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple customers at one time
