Position Overview:
As a Building Materials/Shed Associate, you will help customers load building materials, assist with propane fills, and perform cuts of wood and other materials for customers. Additionally, you’ll assemble BBQs, patio furniture, snow blowers, and other items. This position is active – you’ll be on your feet all day, lift heavy items, and operate a forklift. Our Shed Associates do all the “heavy lifting” in our operation ensuring that our customers are efficiently served and that our shed and outside premises are organized and sharp. The ideal candidate is up for some hard work, enjoys being active, and is looking for a year-round, full-time position.
COMPENSATION RANGE - $18.00 - $20.00/hr. DOE

Work Shift: Full Time, 40 hours/week: 5 days on, 2 days off with at least 1 weekend shift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate warehouse forklift
- Operate various power tools including but not limited to pipe threader, propane pump, panel saw, chop saw, and drills
- Greet all guests with a positive attitude
- Load customer vehicles upon request
- Assist in the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Assemble furniture, barbecues, and other products
- Make customer deliveries
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Previous retail, hardware, and tools knowledge is desired
- Previous building materials knowledge is desired
- Must be able to work in the United States
- Must have a valid driver’s license that meets our insurance company's standards and be able to make deliveries
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Building Materials / Lumber: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred)
Ability to Commute: Truckee, CA 96161 (Required)
