Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Aircraft Sales Manager to join our team as an expert product champion passionate about serving a wide range of customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and negotiating and closing sales deals within an assigned U.S. territory (Midwest, East or West region). The Aircraft Sales Manager will be responsible for strengthening our brand awareness in key markets and working alongside the U.S. distribution network to proactively identify and close aircraft deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation sales, superior communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, research and cultivate potential sales opportunities for all Pipistrel products.
- Develop and implement account strategies designed to inform the prospective client of Pipistrel’s ability to address their needs and expectations, to advance the account decision making process in a timely fashion, and to minimize potential competitive activity by utilizing Company-provided formal Account Management (SalesForce.com) methodology.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of all elements critical to the sales process, including comprehensive familiarity with all technical aspects of the aircraft.
- Increase the sales pipeline and close deals to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Develop and provide regular reporting on sales efforts and specific results to leadership.
- Collaborate with distributors to support opportunities, events, and demonstration flights within their respective territories.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with company representatives, distributors, customers, and key stakeholders within the territory.
- Collaborate with distributors, sales leadership, engineering, product support and production, to resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft or service sales, with a strong understanding of the aviation industry and market dynamics.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and self-directed to deliver high quality results.
- Ability to travel frequently within the territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive sales growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Pipistrel Aircraft's product line and technology.
- Knowledge of the LSA & Trainer market.
- Established network of contacts within the aviation industry.

Compensation:
Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. Benefits may include health insurance and prescription plan coverage, dental insurance, family building benefits, vision insurance, mental health resources, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and programs that provide employees time away from work. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
