We are a vibrant and diverse pre-kindergarten-grade 8 Catholic school in north Seattle. We support and guide our students in their mental, physical and spiritual growth of excellence, service and love. Approximately 70% of our students are students of the global majority and we seek staff who will value and appreciate each student and their families. We are focused on helping each student prepare academically, and to be active community members and leaders in high school, college and beyond.
We are seeking a positive, energetic and engaging Extended Care Director to join our school community.
Schedule:
M-F 6:45am-8:30am
M 2:00pm-6:00pm (or when last student leaves)
T-F 3:00pm-6:00pm (or when last student leaves)
11:45am-6:00 during noon dismissals (or when last student leaves)
Requirements:
- Loves working with kids
- A warm and friendly personality, sensitive to the feelings and needs of others and relates well to students
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check in VIRTUS
- Complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training
Duties:
- Plans a variety of activities
- Creates a fun and engaging environment for students
- Helps with the general housekeeping tasks
- Interacts in a professional manner and attitude with students and families
- Treats all students with dignity and respect
- Maintains a neat and organized space
- Supervises all activities to ensure safety
- Works with other staff members to form a positive and supportive team atmosphere
- Sets behavioral expectations
- Maintain attendance record
- Reports to the principal
Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary ranges from $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
