Talent Acquisition Lead

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Director, Total Rewards

Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for sourcing, attracting and recruiting top talent for the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire top talent. This position requires seasoned recruiting experience with a deep understanding of the full-cycle recruitment process and the ability to manage internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for building diverse, high performing teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles across the organization.
  2. Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that contribute to creating a high performing, inclusive culture.
  3. Create and participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  4. Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create job descriptions and proactive recruiting and interviewing strategies.
  5. Partner with our Talent Development team to create pipelines of internal candidates.
  6. Source and attract diverse slates of candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  7. Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  8. Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the company culture.
  9. Create a best in class candidate experience to ensure a positive and professional recruitment process.
  10. Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage and track candidate information.
  11. Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make improvements.
  12. Create internal tools and processes to ensure an effective and efficient recruiting process.
  13. Develop hiring managers' ability to interview and hire the most diverse workforce to support the company's strategic direction and goals.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  15. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
