Accounting Manager

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Accounting Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA .
Responsibilities :

• Manage year-end audit and schedule requests of external auditors
• Own the documentation and compliance testing related to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) for responsible areas
• Synthesize data into presentation-ready executive summaries
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries from International Accounting, External Reporting, Finance, and Tax teams
• Record intercompany transactions and affiliated reconciliation process
• Perform quarterly flux analysis
• Support lease accounting processes and controls under ASC 842
• Support the S4 HANA Implementation project
• Ad hoc projects and analyses

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field; CPA required
• 10+ years of accounting experience in multinational tech companies
• Experience in SAP ECC or S4 HANA is a must
• Experience in Blackline is a must
• Deep understanding of ASC 842 and ASC 830 is highly preferred
• Experience in consolidations, intercompany, or compensation accounting is a plus
• Familiar with Ariba and Tableau is highly preferred
• Must demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills
• Tech savvy
• Self-motivated and resourceful
