Position Summary
The public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that support Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations (SO), sales enablement (SE), government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management, and engagement assurance. As part of ECO, SO partners with sellers to support top of funnel sales activities. This may include but is not limited to developing sales assets and outreach communications, ensuring Salesforce compliance, preparing for key sales meetings, and supporting our public sector sales team. The SO Analyst plays a pivotal role in executing public sector sales strategies and supporting infrastructure in place to effectively build a pipeline, nurture prospects, and ultimately close deals.
Qualifications
In this role, the SO Analyst will provide support before and after client sales meetings by collaborating with Huron leaders on next steps, researching clients, and coordinating next steps for internal and external meetings. The SO Analyst will be expected to meet or exceed reasonable follow-up activity goals. In addition, this role monitors and assists with sales process compliance and works with market leaders to maximize sales efforts and results. Other responsibilities include lead generation, client outreach, relationship mapping, and support to general sales requests outside of assigned area(s) as needed. Typical duties include the following:
- Collaborate with sales leaders on outreach efforts, identify accounts and contacts, and help track email follow-up and meeting scheduling.
- Leverage software tools (Seismic, Salesforce, and Smartsheet) to track performance related to outreach.
- General Salesforce support and maintain all public sector records.
- Facilitate and support internal public sector meetings and calls, including draft agendas, review minutes and follow-up on action items, distribute meeting invitations, and sustain listserv.
- Contact management for sales asset and collateral.
- Review, solicit, and communicate opportunities sourced daily via third party procurement sites such as GovWin, FedConnect, and Sam.gov, and task orders from prime contract vehicles.
- Conduct research and analytic requests needed to assist portfolio teams.
- Assist with brand awareness efforts, such as event management and tracking, creating materials, sharing LinkedIn resources, etc.
- Collaborate across the ECO team to support public sector initiatives as needed.
A successful candidate will have excellent sales PowerPoint and writing skills along with strong follow-up and organization skills. They will be able to manage a variety of tasks with deadlines that often require a quick turnaround and be comfortable working in a unique and high intensity role on the SO team. Reporting to a SO Manager, this position actively coordinates with individuals across the public sector ECO team to instill consistency and best practices. Further, in collaboration with a SO Manager, this role will lead discussions and strategize with practice leadership including MDs, SDs and other key sellers who actively participate in sales pursuits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 0-2 years relevant business experience.
- Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US – non-billable role with limited travel required.
- Excellent writing and research skills with the ability to understand prospects or contacts and independently create email communication that will create and build connections with sales leaders.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to coordinate internal staff, resources, and tasks.
- Strong project manager with ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines and with a focus on high quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Resourceful and has excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Good presentation, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- CRM (Salesforce) and content management software (Seismic) preferred.
- Quick learner of Huron’s core services and capabilities.
- US work Authorization is required.
The estimated base salary range for this job is $50,000 - $70,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $55,000 - $77,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
