Web Developer (React)

TalEx is partnering with a top place to work to identify a Senior Web Developer for a long-term contract role in Fairfax, VA. There is a good chance this role will also convert to a full-time position.

A typical day looks like:

• Actively participate in morning huddle with fellow developers, PO and Scrum Master
• Pair program on connecting React/Node pages to back-end APIs
• Research GraphQL for use on upcoming project
• Whiteboard session with PO to design next SEO analysis tool
• Attend weekly department meeting, give quick readout on use of AWS

Stuff you’ve got to have experience with:

• Modern Front End JavaScript libraries - ReactJS is required!
• NodeJS / Javascript / ES6
• HTML5, CSS3
• Web services / REST API / GraphQL
• Content Management System frameworks such as Contentful, Joomla or WordPress
• Knowledge of SEO & web page performance techniques
• Paired programming, TDD, XP
