Locations: This position will require you to work at different locations in San Jose, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Hayward, Scotts Valley, and Salinas.
Shift & Hours: On Call. Must be available for holidays and weekends. This is all based on your availability sheet.
Requirements
- Get called in 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour before shift.
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at client site.
- Securing events, coverage, public and private sites, and parties.
- Mobile Patrol (not required).
- Carry out instructions as documented in site Post Orders.
- Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Patrols assigned site on foot; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Will make 911 and emergency calls.
- Have to deal with homeless individuals.
- Responds to all alarm and emergency incidents.
- Prepares logs and reports as required.
- Utilizing TrackTik scans throughout the site.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Failure to pick-up shifts (declining 3 or more shifts in a 30-days period), agreed upon the signed employee availability form, can result in removal as a flex, rate change, and/or termination from the company.
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a current BSIS Security Guard Card License.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Some sites require no visible tattoos or piercings.
- Ability to patrol outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional attitude.
- Ability to pass an extensive background screening process by Creative Security and the client.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Shift & Hours: Must be available for weekends and nights.
Environment: Indoor and Outdoor; Construction locations.
