KBF is currently seeking a Manager to join our Audit & Advisory Services team.
The KBF Audit & Advisory Services team provides professionals with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects throughout the year to help build invaluable skills and experience. The group's collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment offers employees the opportunity to work with both high-caliber team members and top-tier clients while maintaining a small-firm atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements and support the execution of a high-quality audit
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and ensure efficient information flow from the client to the audit team
- Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work product based on client expectations and deadlines
- Help develop and supervise Audit teams on engagements by providing coaching, timely feedback, and reviewing their audit documentation
- Openly communicate with partners, and teams about the status, timeline, issues, and progress of projects, tasks, and associated budgets
- Stay current on changes within the profession and business environment
- Build client relationships and demonstrate understanding of client's business and processes.
- Be actively involved in and a positive influence on team recruiting, development, training, and retention
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by developing a thorough understanding of KBF methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university & licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent in their home office state
- Minimum of four years recent Audit experience in public accounting or equivalent experience and have obtained the title of "Senior Associate" or similar designation
- Exhibited technical proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
- Motivated and quick learner, with strong communications skills and demonstrated professionalism
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Eligible to work in the US
