What You Will Be Doing

Join us at identifeye HEALTH, where your role as a Software Product Manager will be pivotal in shaping innovative software solutions tailored for healthcare providers. You’ll spearhead the entire software product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, while fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration.

We’re seeking a dynamic Software Product Manager with a blend of business acumen, customer-centricity, technical prowess, and an insatiable curiosity. You’ll take the lead in gathering product/software requirements and defining the vision for our MedTech optical imaging product, working closely with engineering and other teams to bring that vision to life.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Collaborate closely with the head of Product, UI/UX team and engineering teams to shape and align product strategy and roadmap across departments, fostering a unified vision for success
  2. Support the development of product requirements for R&D initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user needs
  3. Craft compelling product narratives that effectively communicate project motivation, objectives, and key results, with a keen focus on user needs and pain points
  4. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, gather and reconcile requirements from stakeholders, and facilitate decisions about implementation and resource allocation
  5. Prepare and review product documentation, including product development schedules, status updates, and resource plans
  6. Dive deep into customer pain points and needs to define the end-user experience and app workflows, driving innovation and exceptional outcomes
  7. Prioritize features across our software stack – cloud, mobile, embedded, and ML – to effectively manage requests and plan releases, aligning with our release strategies
  8. Define success metrics to monitor product performance and continuously iterate based on user feedback, leveraging data and customer research to enhance product offerings
  9. Drive continuous learning and improvement by analyzing user behavior post-launch and using insights to inform iterative development
  10. Identify opportunities to leverage data and customer research to influence and execute growth and engagement strategies effectively

What We Are Looking For

Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline
  2. 5+ years of software/technical product management experience
  3. Proven success in end to end software product delivery. Experience with machine learning applications, cloud-based products, mobile applications and/or embedded systems is highly desirable.
  4. Strong understanding of software development
  5. Strong understanding of product management tools and methodologies
  6. Experience owning and driving product roadmap, strategy and definition
  7. Prior experience conducting user research, successfully translating user needs into product specifications
  8. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  9. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across engineering teams to define and execute on product features and enhancements
  10. Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  11. Strong technical leadership aptitude, business acumen, and project management skills
  12. Strong analytical skills and a data driven decision making approach
  13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  14. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  15. Local or willing to relocate to the Redwood City, CA area

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience with software as a medical device (SaMD)
  2. Experience with relevant medical device regulations such as IEC 62304 and/or 62366
  3. Familiarity with Jira, Github and/or AWS

What We Offer

Anticipated Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000 annually. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, operational needs, potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, equity and program-specific awards.
