The appointment is available on either a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, or as a permanent Associate Dentist. Immediate start available working at the practice on a part or full time basis (2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week).
The practice has been recently refurbished and has 4 well equipped surgeries. NHS hygienist services available. All surgeries and reception are fully computerised, using SOE/Exact software with patient Clinipads and portal, text and email reminders to patients, intraoral cameras, connected tv screens, digital radiography, rotary endo for each surgery, trios intraoral scanner, and reveal aligners.
The practice is a long-standing foundation training practice, with very supportive and friendly staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide NHS and private dental care.
- Work within a stable patient base with long-standing patients.
- Participate in the training of foundation trainees.
Requirements:
- GDC registered with a Welsh performer number.
- Completion of foundation training in the UK.
Compensation:
NHS: £13.65 per UDA equivalent. Available UDA's from 4000 (3 days) up to 6300 (5 days) negotiable. Private work 50/50 split, with significant opportunity to increase. The practice offers Reveal aligners and will pay for the successful candidate's training course.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Thursday 9am - 5.15pm (lunch 1 to 2pm) and Friday 9am - 4pm (lunch 1pm to 1.30pm).
Easy access from Newport, Cardiff and Bristol, close to J28 M4.
