CNC Programmer

What you'll do:

• Write CNC programs for production runs
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions, choose cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates
• Modify existing programs for different machines to maximize efficiency and the quality of the product being produced
• Maintain tooling database
• Make manual program adjustments as necessary
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
• Constantly seek out opportunities for improvement in the tooling, programming, and machine capabilities of the CNC area

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical or associate degree program a plus
• Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings
• Experience programming 3- and 5-axis CNC mills and routers (4 years minimum, required)
• Familiarity with Mastercam
• Familiarity with Fagor
• Basic math skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
