Sales Manager

About the Company:

Our 5-Star Luxury Brand Hotel client is a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World. They are looking for a Sales and Reservation Manager to join their team. This role would be working at their high-end boutique property near the beautiful beaches of Southern California.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage aspects of the Sales Department as well as the Reservations department and ensure all LQA service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.
• Oversee a reservations manager and or agent as well as assist in leading marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media programming.
• Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
• Maximize rooms revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices.
• Train and coach colleagues to the desired level.
• Solicit transient and/or group and corporate business, and reach established goals.
• Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contracts.
• Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events as required.
• This role does require travel both domestic and international. Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details.
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager. Produce weekly and monthly reporting (Agency 360, Geo-targeting social media campaigns, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years in a sales and reservation mangement position in a luxury hotel setting.
• Relevant sales experience is in the hospitality industry, preferably boutique luxury hotels.
• Experience in leading Marketing, Public Relations, and Social Media programming for a luxury hotel.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Must have Opera experience
