Construction Accountant

Our client is a construction firm with a proven growth track record and a stable background. They are looking to add a Construction Accountant to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k

Position Overview:

As the Construction Accountant, you would oversee and handle all accounting-related activities with new construction projects being developed. The Construction Accountant will assist with some bookkeeping and HR-related tasks and analyze all AP invoices.

Responsibilities of the Construction Accountant:

• Review all accounting related to new construction projects.
• Assist with job costing as the Construction accountant.
• Legal documents review.
• Assist with work in progress (WIP).
• Take charge of journal entries and preparing financial statements.
• Analyze financials.
• Assist with insurance coverage management.
• Assist with fixed assets and developments.

Qualifications for the Construction Accountant:

• 5 years of Construction Accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Construction software.
• Has vast knowledge of accounting related to construction projects.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
