Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies. Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, and workplace culture; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected, filed appropriately, and up to date. Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providers, fostering position relationships. Conducts with new hire orientation, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience that integrates new employees into the organizational culture. Assists in the recruiting process, including screening resumes and coordinating interviews. Researches and suggests HR best practices and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. Other duties as assigned. Human Resource Coordinator Education, experience, technical skills & attributes required:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of related experience with HR generalist &/or recruiting experience preferred. SHRM-CP &/or PHR credential preferred. Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
