Support for Early Learning & Families (SELF) seeks an experienced, engaging, and dedicated Site Coordinator to join our educational community. SELF Mission: Support for Early Learning and Families (SELF) convenes and mobilizes partners and stakeholders throughout Southwest Washington to promote community awareness and advocacy for early learning, kindergarten readiness and school success for all children. We work in partnership with the Educational Service District (ESD) 112 to staff and facilitate numerous childcare centers in the southwest Washington area. To learn more about SELF, we invite you to visit our website: Job Title: Site Coordinator Employment Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Operations Center Director Supervises: N/A About the Site Coordinator Position: Under the supervision of the Lead Operations Center Director, the Site Coordinator serves in School Age and Birth to 5 programs in various positions such as School Age Center Director, Lead Teacher, and Assistant Teacher. In collaboration with Center Directors, Site Coordinators are responsible for maintaining an environment that is developmentally appropriate for children and utilizes the most effective methods to engage children and families. Operation Center Directors will support Site Coordinators on professional development to stay up to date on early childhood education best practices. Site Coordinators work in partnership with the ESD 112 to ensure compliance with the Washington Administrative Code. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or GED. 30 total college credits. Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Elementary Education preferred 18 years of age or older. Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment with constant interruptions, while maintaining a focus on children and meeting program requirements Regular attendance during scheduled work hours.
