Onsite Supervisor for a Food Manufacturing Company in Gardena

LaborNow HR is seeking an experienced Onsite Supervisor to join our team at a food manufacturing company in Gardena. This role is key in overseeing the delivery of human resource services, acting as a lead in managing associate employees, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The Onsite Supervisor will collaborate closely with the client to provide excellent customer service and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong partnerships by understanding the client's business, strategies, and processes.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline aligned with staffing needs.
• Ensure adherence to operational standards and employment laws.
• Foster a consultative relationship with the client to drive business growth.
• Consistently exceed expectations by offering innovative staffing solutions.
• Oversee the orientation and onboarding of new talent.
• Manage daily HR functions including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Address staffing and performance challenges proactively.
• Ensure a positive experience for candidates and field employees.
• Promote teamwork, cooperation, and a culture of workplace safety.
• Conduct safety walks and participate in client safety meetings and training sessions.
• Manage timekeeping records and payroll processing.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Branch Manager to stay updated on staffing needs and order fulfillment.
• Generate and run reports based on client needs.
• Report incidents, injuries, or harassment to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of business experience, with at least 2 years in HR, recruiting, or staffing.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional professionalism and communication skills at all levels.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.

Additional Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Flexible schedule with availability for overtime and weekends as needed.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Some repetitive movements typical of an office environment.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
