You’ll be a lead recruiter at Newance. In this role, you’ll take on senior and exec level searches while supporting and growing a team of talented recruiters. Whether refining and revamping our Buildery program or attracting the very best of the best recruiters to work with you, you’ll always be thinking about how to grow and evolve the team. We’re a boutique agency with a highly personalized and modern recruiting approach. If you like matching a few keywords and sending 1000 messages at once, you will hate it here!

You’ll need to be comfortable taking on at least some technical roles though we have brilliant Experts in Residence who are there to help. If you’re already familiar with the wide world of Javascript and more, we really want you to apply!

A few key projects for you in year 1 will include:

  1. 60% - Crush it on a variety of senior and exec level recruiting projects. Sometimes as a recruiter and sometimes as a project manager.
  2. 30% - Mentor the team and support recruiting team growth.
  3. 10% - Relationship building, brand building & networking.

We're Looking For Someone With

  1. 8+ years of experience in recruitment ideally in a blend of both in-house and agency.
  2. Interest in entrepreneurship. This is a senior level role to scale a company with 7 figures in revenue and a client retention rate over 95%. But we’re still scrappy and need that from you too.
  3. Tech intuition. You'll need to be able to speak to how you've utilized technology and how you keep up with tech trends.
  4. Home base in Milwaukee, Madison or Chicago strongly preferred. We’re remote first and we always will be but you will need to see teammates in person sometimes!
