The corporate Quality Management Office (QMO) focuses on establishing a comprehensive process and quality infrastructure for SPA to consistently deliver on its promise of excellence to our customers.

SPA has an immediate need for a Business Process Analyst.

Responsibilities

SPA is looking for an open-minded, creative, and divergent thinking team player. The successful candidate will report to the Corporate Quality Manager, who reports to the Quality Director overseeing the Quality Management Office.

    Responsible for eliciting business logic from identified stakeholders and developing associated process diagrams and for documentation of work products related to existing and new processes.
  • Liaise with the technical design and implementation team to support them in designing data workflows that align with the business process.
  • Possess a strong understanding of interpreting business logic, information technology, and engineering principles.
  • Process automation and advanced technology solutions to ensure that our processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Security, Quality Assurance and Operations to understand and help teams develop and analyze departmental and cross-functional processes to meet business objectives.
  • Support the company's automation and digitalization initiatives to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention through an understanding of business process logic and technical solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented processes and collect metrics and data for leadership for quantitative analysis and report status and risks to QMO leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all process engineering activities through participation in process audits and review of nonconformances.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven expertise mapping out processes and developing associated documents and other work products, with at least 3 of those years in the GovCon industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Industial Management
  • Strong understanding of ISO standard and CMMI methodology and audits
  • Strong proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; prior experience with UML technology (Star UML), ERP systems and data analytics platforms is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DMAIC and PDCA quality management frameworks
  • Possess the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Software engineering or Information Management
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies preferred
