The candidate must be based in the Houston, TX area.How You'll Help Us Connect the WorldAs the global market leader in our low-voltage/telecommunications infrastructure space, CommScope is looking for an upbeat Account Manager to join a very successful and results-oriented team.This role is predominately customer-facing and has the responsibility of positioning and selling a portfolio of premium low-voltage infrastructure copper/fiber solutions, in addition to In-Building Wireless and Distributed Antenna Systems at the End User decision-maker level.Here, you will provide outstanding customer service by understanding the customer and specific business units and delivering products, services, and solutions to meet or exceed customer expectations.We provide our employees with opportunities where they can innovate and build while growing and developing their careers. Connect your future!Required Qualifications for Consideration:Three or more years of account management sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.Ability to strategically run large enterprise accounts and grow the territory.Expert ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, willing to take action with professional interpersonal skills.Ability and willingness to travel within the Houston market for tradeshows, customer meetings, industry events, etc.You Will Excite Us If You Have:A team player mentalityA growth mindsetA completed Bachelor’s DegreeExperience with a quota of $5 million or moreExperience in the telecom industryExperience in the data center industryExperience with Business DevelopmentExperience building a professional networkExperience with cold callingOur salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs.
