Our growing Information Services team is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and oversee our team of Business Development and Customer Success Representatives. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the team to successfully prospect, develop, and close new sales opportunities and achieve and exceed sales targets. You will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving results.
Requirements
  • Responsible for new customer sales and builds brand-focused network to effectively communicate company's unique offerings.
  • Continuously develops product and services knowledge to better educate and advocate product with prospective customers, translating customer's needs into solutions that solve business issues.
  • Build trust and relationships with internal referral resources across Rea & Associates service areas and industries.
  • Customer engagement begins with identifying prospects, and the Business Development Leader will work with their team to track, document and follow through on all leads.
  • Conducts research of potential customers, actively connecting with prospective customers through network connects other avenues as may present.
  • Research leads and contacts to discover if potential customer's business needs align with product and sales offerings.
  • Nurture leads and prospects until they become a contracted customer.
  • Manage pipeline and ensure integrity of data through accurate and timely entry of data into Company systems.
  • With assistance from team members in our security and service delivery teams the Business Development Leader works with their team to own and lead Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses, as well as presentations before new potential customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Attend assigned sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
  • Take part in marketing planning and execution processes.
  • Participate in video marketing by creating various customer success, tech tips, and other video content.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience within the information technology industry
  • Exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers
  • Proven ability to listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer
  • Ability to effectively learn technical products, services and solutions and readily apply new knowledge
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and effectively forecast both short-term and long-term sales
  • Ability to maintain and expand existing account relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications
  • Previous proven expertise in managed services, cyber security services, cloud, and software and/or hardware solution sales
  • Ability to interface with end users - customer service
  • Problem solving skills - ability to perform root cause analysis and determine appropriate course of action
