Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the Salesforce platform to enhance business processes and improve overall functionality. This position, under minimal supervision, plays a key role in supporting and enhancing our Salesforce Service Cloud environment. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including administration, configuration, development, and user adoption. The Developer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that optimize our customer service operations.


This position will support our IT team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts, security settings, and data governance within Service Cloud.
  • Configure workflows, automation rules, and custom objects to streamline service processes.
  • Design and implement reports and dashboards for insightful service performance analysis.
  • Develop custom functionalities and integrations to extend Service Cloud capabilities.
  • Utilize Apex programming language, Visualforce frameworks, and Lightning components to create user-centric solutions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing code base to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Service Cloud functionality with backend systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Developers & offshore development teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Sales & Service Cloud functionalities and best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Service Cloud environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • 6 - 9 years of total IT experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administering and developing within Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Proficient with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, including both Classic and Lightning components.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex and Force.com development.
  • Extensive experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data management principles.
  • Experience in migrating changes across systems using CI/CD technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and ANT.
  • Capable of providing technical leadership and guidance to offshore development teams.
  • Skilled in collaborating with business analysts to translate requirements into implementable solutions.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive code reviews, oversee testing processes, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and innovate solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience.
