Responsibilities:
Manage the software engineering stream and sub-stream to ensure efficient project execution and product development.
Oversee the development and implementation of technical strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
Drive the architectural vision and ensure the scalability of systems.
Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Go (8.0+), Unit/Integration/Feature-Testing.
5+years of commercial development on Go (at least 3 years in the last 5 years).
2+ years of experience in a technology leadership role in teams of 10+ people.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, web application architecture, and database design.
Experience with SOLID, DRY, KISS principles.
In-depth experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture, Twelve-Factor App principles, and building cloud-based SaaS applications.
Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with message brokers (NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ), Redis, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in transitioning backend monolith applications to microservices.
Experience with observability: logs and metrics collection, application profiling, tracing, error collection with Sentry, visualization with Grafana.
Expertise in modern PHP frameworks: Laravel or Symfony.
Familiarity with NATS JetStream.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Microsoft Azure) are advantageous.
