The role
Our New York office is looking for a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial Client Partner to join our ambitious team. Our team in NY is small but growing fast and this role will be accountable for leading our largest client portfolio which includes L'Oreal, Bayer Consumer Health, ABI, and Waterloo Drinks. With each of these clients we hold strong relationships from the C-Suite (CMO) down and are quickly expanding our influence across their brands, including Maybelline, Urban Decay, Garnier, SkinCeuticals, Flintstones Vitamins, One A Day, Lortimin, Afrin and MiraLAX.
In leading the portfolio, the Client Partner will build enduring client relationships, growing our reputation and influence across the client organisation and responsible for ensuring the both the work and commercial performance is consistently achieving the highest standard.
Our client services team serves as the important interface between agency and client. Invested in both and able to fluently and frictionlessly ensure the best outcomes for our clients based on a deep understanding of their business challenges and our agency services. They are highly organised and a credible communicator and leader.
Over the next 2 years we have ambitious growth targets for our NY team and this role will offer a fantastic opportunity for accelerated career progression to someone who demonstrates excellence in realising the above.
Your key responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with Executive and Senior clients
- Develop and grow AnalogFolk group reputation within the clients in your portfolio
- Create an environment and culture both within the AnalogFolk team, as well as in collaboration with our clients, that is positive, productive and inspiring
- Motivate a high performing team
- Develops a deep understanding of client's business environment and consumer
- Drive our clients business forward through innovative work that inspires and motivates consumers
- Ensures delivery of high quality work for all clients
- Design, and work with the MD and Operations Director to deliver, the portfolio team shape and skills
- Identify, engage, convert and scale new opportunities within client relationships
- Set and deliver on client portfolio revenue and profit targets
- Display a high emotional intellect, the ability to drive projects and lead an internal team through various scenarios with clients
Leadership
Able to create an environment that encourages the development of concepts through problem solving. Actively and openly expresses support for creative thinking and new ideas. Builds commitment among direct reports and other team members. Constantly strives to improve the usual approach to business, challenging the status quo where appropriate.
Account planning
Able to convince clients of the value of annual planning sessions. Ensures visibility of all major client initiatives over 12 months. Provides a viewpoint on team resource and configuration. Sets out detailed
month-by-month forecasts against which resource can be planned.
Strategic skills
Able to generate new opportunities and forecast future challenges through strategic thinking. Able to develop unique concepts that help transform our clients business. Able to communicate effectively and knows when to modify own preferred style for maximum effectiveness.
Stakeholders.
Successfully manages multiple suppliers, partners and clients to ensure best outcome for both client and AnalogFolk Group. Keeps stakeholders informed of project progress at all times and manages expectations proactively.
Budget and financial management
Meets and exceeds account profitability targets. Responsible for all aspects of the monthly financial process of account management, for example: accurate forecasting, billing and team utilization targets.
Business development
Identifies, pursues and converts additional opportunities for AnalogFolk Group. Leverages client relationships for introductions to additional business units and brands.
