There is currently an opening to work as a Procurement Analyst for Foodbuy.Key Responsibilities:Manages the accuracy of the proprietary rebate, pricing and billing database and process all data requests by stated deadlinesAdministers the release of contract pricing to the distribution/member networks and respond to any and all inquiries surrounding pricing releaseReviews Ceres New Item Manager monthly and work with the Category Development team to ensure the accuracy and rebateabilityHelps maintain standardization of catalog data (Item Details, Category/Sub Category, UOM’s, etc.) by identifying outliers and requesting updates via Catalog ManagementDevelops detailed understanding of Legal Contracts and ensure that the CERES agrees to the commercial terms of the legal contractProvides excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholdersIdentifies, calculates Retro/Revised Billing Opportunities, presents to category development and processes Billing Requests through internal systemsGenerates reports using various reporting tools (i.e. FORT, Reports Portal, FSM, SAP).Performs various types of analysis by customer/distributor/category/item relative to purchase volume, quantities, and rebates.Develops product knowledge and understanding of market conditions.Acts as gatekeeper of Mfr Discrepancies, acting as liaison between multiple departments, not limited to category development, member development, and finance, to facilitate resolution to MDN’s within agreed upon SLAPreferred Qualifications:Must have two plus years of experience analyzing large volumes of dataMust be able to work effectively on an individual basis and as part of a teamMust be able to read and interpret information; write correspondence and reports; and present effectively to other employees, suppliers and/or customersNeed to be able to apply concepts of algebra and basic calculusMust be able to pull tangible and intangible data pieces together to draw conclusions and provide recommendations for solutions where limited standardization and multiple variables existHigh proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook required with the ability to perform vlookups and pivot table summariesTime and Project Management skills requiredExperience with SAP and other database or purchase tracking applications a plusHigh energy individual able to adapt to ever changing environmentApply to Canteen today!Canteen is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Group is an equal opportunity employer.
