The Senior Partner Success Manager is the day-to-day contact for a subset of premium publisher partners. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supply Partnerships, this role is the backbone of GumGum's premium publisher partnerships. This individual is essential to retaining tier 1 and 2 accounts while unlocking their maximum revenue potential.
The Senior Partner Success Manager will independently own relationships with our top publisher partners. Through these relationships and their industry knowledge, this individual will be crucial in helping develop the company’s overall publisher development strategy.
The Senior Partner Success Manager possesses a passion for customer success and serves as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms.
Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.
What You'll Achieve
- Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 publisher partnerships independently.
- Conduct in-person QBRs at top publisher offices.
- Discuss industry trends to develop publisher strategies.
- Be an expert on GumGum’s products, tools, and platforms.
- Identify and resolve account management issues.
- Manage internal team support projects.
- Escalate technical issues and manage partner communications.
- Monitor reports to identify trends or issues.
- Present growth opportunities for new revenue via upsells.
- Support publisher onboarding with solutions engineering and partner management teams.
Skills You'll Bring
- BA/BS in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience.
- 4-6 years in digital media/ad tech, with network, exchange, or SSP exposure.
- Startup experience is a plus.
- Account management experience in ad tech.
- Proficient in JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and ticketing systems.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with the media industry, digital advertising, and ad tech.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication in customer-facing roles.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, GSuite (JIRA & Google Ad Manager a plus).
- Team player with an ownership mentality.
- Passion for media and aiding publishers.
- Desire to build partnerships and work with diverse clients.
- Interest in ad tech trends and operational capacity.
What We Offer
At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from ($79,000 - $96,000) annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.
The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
