7230 Oracle Developer

Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL.

Hire: Contract

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Define and document new internal and external software interfaces
2. Perform detailed design, code development, unit test, and systems integration for new and modified code
3. Support requirements validation with traceability from system components to the test cases and back to the Requirements Traceability Matrix
4. Support alpha testing of internal structures or workings of applications to locate design flaws or deficiencies
5. Participate in code and peer reviews as well as formal walk-throughs
6. Support the development of specifications and technical documentation
7. Support the development, testing, and reviews of software programs based on industry prevailing technologies and languages
8. Interface with customers for requirement gathering
9. Develop PL/SQL procedures and maintain the existing PL/SQL applications

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with at least 5 years of professional experience; or a minimum 3 years of professional experience with related Master's Degree
2. Solid experience with Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
3. Knowledge of Java is desirable
