Location: Philadelphia PA, Plano TX, or Charlotte NC

Schedule : Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday on site)

Project Overview: Our advisory client has partnered with an investment management company to enhance their cloud security framework and ensure robust protection of their cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing security measures within AWS. You will utilize your expertise in IAM, cloud services, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to safeguard the end client's cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS IAM policies and security best practices tailored for the end client's needs.
• Develop cloud infrastructure and security components using IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Troubleshoot permissions issues and manage access governance across AWS services.
• Write and manage JSON policies, service control policies (SCPs), and IAM policies at scale.
• Oversee cloud database access governance and implement necessary security routines.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams using tools like Bitbucket and GitHub to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct security assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Stay current with cloud security trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• 6-12 years of relevant work experience in cloud security.
• Proficiency in AWS IAM and cloud security best practices.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and API actions.
• Experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) for building cloud infrastructure.
• Skilled in writing JSON policies and troubleshooting IAM permissions.
• Knowledge of cloud database access governance and related technology routines.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD methodologies.
• AWS Cloud Certification preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty).
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder Status.
