Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and highly organized Global Corporate Events Lead to shape and lead Airtable’s corporate event strategy on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you will own the planning, management, and execution of a diverse range of events, including high-profile third-party trade shows and executive conferences, launch events (both live and digital) and Airtable’s first user conference.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Director of Field Marketing, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, and Product to ensure every event amplifies Airtable’s brand, fosters engagement, and drives measurable business results. This is a fast-paced role that calls for strong project management, creative problem-solving, and the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously—all while delivering flawless execution.

The ideal candidate knows how to quickly create and execute a strategy in a very dynamic environment, can manage cross-functional teams of contractors, agencies and internal stakeholders, comfortable working with executives and getting exec buy-in, and understands how secure internal and external resources needed for success.

As a key player in a high-growth SaaS company, this highly visible role has global scope across AMER, EMEA, and eventually ANZ, offering an exciting opportunity to shape Airtable’s global brand presence and create demand in the market. The ideal candidate brings a full ownership mindset, confidently taking responsibility for each event’s success from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional results at every stage.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive third party event strategy aligned with Airtable’s business objectives, targeting our ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and engaging customers, prospects, and partners across key markets.
  • Campaign Integration: Ensure the third party event strategy seamlessly integrates into Airtable’s broader Campaign and Field Marketing initiatives, driving alignment and gaining buy-in from Sales to maximize impact.
  • Third-Party Event Management: Lead all aspects of third-party event planning, from overarching trade show and conference strategies to the details of booth design, demos, speaking engagements, staffing, executive briefings, and post-event follow-up.
  • Airtable Brand Event Management: Spearhead the planning and execution of select Airtable-branded events, particularly high-impact product launches, both virtual and live as well as Airtable’s first user conference. Ensure consistent brand messaging, flawless logistics, and an exceptional attendee experience from concept to post-event analysis.
  • Digital launch moments: Work closely with the campaigns, webinar and product marketing teams to fully drive and own our digital launch events.
  • Budget Oversight: Take full ownership of event budgets, ensuring all events are executed efficiently within financial guidelines while maximizing impact and return on investment (ROI).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive teams to align event themes, messaging, and objectives with overall company goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, external partners, and event attendees, ensuring transparent communication and clear expectations at every stage.
  • On-Site Leadership: Oversee all aspects of event setup, logistics, and on-site execution, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure flawless operations and a standout attendee experience.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure that every event consistently reflects Airtable’s brand and messaging, delivering a memorable and cohesive experience for all attendees.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Lead post-event analysis by capturing key performance metrics, attendee feedback, and actionable insights, identifying opportunities for improvement and future success.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate event planning or field marketing, ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
  • 2-3 years of management experience overseeing FTEs and/or contractors.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse event formats, including digital, live, third-party, and owned events.
  • Experience leading external contractors/agencies, with a strong focus on accountability and delivering results.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business cases and secure resources to achieve event goals.
  • Expertise in budget management, with a focus on maximizing ROI.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiations, sponsorships, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with SFDC, Outreach, and virtual event technologies.
  • Experience in sales activation, follow-up motions, and collaborating with email and field marketing teams for post-event success.
  • Willingness to travel 20%-25%, with potential to reduce as you ramp.
