Summary
Turn to Joy at The Annex is looking for a team member to lead our new Afterschool program for children 5 - 12 yrs old. Organization, planning, and collaboration are required skills for this position. Our goal is to develop an Afterschool program that is engaging, supportive of families and children, and welcoming to all. This currently is a part-time position but may grow into full-time.
Duties
Duties include:
- Weekly planning and implementation of afterschool activities, including active play outside.
- Communication with families and other staff in a professional manner.
- Organizing materials and maintaining a clean space for children.
- Respectful and appropriate interactions with children.
- Providing supervision and monitoring for safety.
- Light cleaning at the end of the day.
Requirements
Associates Degree or experience working with children. First Aid/CPR. Vermont Orientation training.
