The Role
Manager, Global Security Operations Center
The Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) will build, maintain and operate a GSOC to support all Netflix enterprises worldwide. Additional scope includes the development of GSOC technology capabilities, optimizing security preparedness and emergency response, and supporting workplace security programs for both studio and corporate facilities. You will be empowered to make things happen and have a natural inclination to work within a high-performance culture that is fast-paced, dynamic and self-directed. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Global Security Operations Center based in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Netflix Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to ensure coordination with interdepartmental partners across the globe to provide intelligence, coordination, and communications on security-related matters.
- Partner with Enterprise Security and other security teams to enhance programs supporting both a mobile corporate workforce and production staff.
- Develop technology platforms and to create an integrated common operating picture for the business to provide global situational awareness.
- Assist Security Operations with security systems technology integration, design, and implementation.
- Assist with the ongoing development of crisis management and response programs.
- Support the development of enterprise security services such as workplace violence, travel security, K&R, and security awareness training.
- Manage and develop a multi-vendor / consultant network as well as leverage existing network to ensure appropriate solutions are in place to minimize business risk exposure.
- Remain up-to-date on emerging security trends that may impact the company.
Qualifications:
- Expertise overseeing and/or developing a GSOC at a multinational required.
- Expertise in a physical security role (corporate security, security operations, intelligence, military, law enforcement).
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree and/or relevant certifications a plus.
- Experience providing security for overall studio operations including events, production, talent, etc.
- Ability to speak a second language at a business proficient level a plus.
- Comfortable leaning in to risk without sacrificing effective security response.
- Can work independently with a DIY mentality and drive results in a nimble environment.

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $100,000 - $350,000. This market range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which is in line with our compensation philosophy.
