The Medical Assistant position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Santa Monica Fertility, located in Santa Monica, CA. This is a full-time position, working fully onsite, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, with required weekend and holiday rotations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical history, and verify patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic diagnostic procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and document patient information accurately.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by following infection control procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Other duties and project as assigned
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or back-office clinic setting (preferred).
- Experience in women’s health or fertility settings (preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- BLS Certified required
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong planning abilities.
- Service-oriented with strong social perceptiveness
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$25.00-30.00 hourly
The compensation range for this position is between $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
