This high-level individual contributor is focused on advocating value base initiatives utilizing Semler Scientifics’ products, programs, and enhancements, with an entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset. Achieve and exceed territory-based sales goals by identifying, developing, and closing profitable business opportunities with new and existing strategic accounts. This role includes identifying new markets potential, negotiating, and closing opportunities, and delivering clinical and operational outcomes for customers. Collaboration in a matrixed sales organization, leveraging cross business unit communication and resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to command the executive presence both internally and externally by articulating larger value proposition across the Semler Scientific product portfolio.
- Drive overall revenue attainment goals across assigned accounts and markets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that deliver comprehensive solutions to customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining executive level relationships with all key decision makers and influencers in each assigned strategic account and markets.
- Responsible for the development of the account plan and the overall account strategy to include all internal stakeholders including matrix relationships.
- Assess account needs and analyze customer data and prepare plans in partnership with field sales and other commercial resources to optimize customer satisfaction and overall business goals.
- Provide territory support during times of Sales Manager absence or vacancy (vacation, leave, time out of the territory for training/meetings, etc.)
- Compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5-7 years’ experience in similar role (in healthcare).
- Experience successfully negotiating contractual agreements.
- Experience with C-Suite sales and strategic/national accounts.
- Experience with EMR’s and technical selling.
- Demonstrated ability to sell solutions.
- Strong understanding of Clinical/Payer Operations and medical terminology
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior CRM experience (i.e., Salesforce)
- Significant experience in negotiating and closing new business and/or budgeting
- Maintains Valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance
- May require up to 75% travel within the domestic USA, mostly within defined territory
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work well independently, and demonstrate professional selling skills.
- Outstanding analytical, communication, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, technical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking. Proven track record to drive internal change with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and grow sales.
- Creates and executes strategy, delivering significant top-tier results consistently.
- Cardiology experience highly preferred.
