The Bridge/Structural Engineer is supported by a department of professionals to support managing successful projects that exceed client expectations while meeting JEO’s financial goals.Responsibilities and DutiesServe as the lead engineer / project manager, including the planning, analysis, and design on a variety of bridge projectsPerform structural design calculations, bridge design details and specifications developmentDetermine bridge quantity development, assign work and/or checking design calculations, and construction cost estimateHave strong technical skills and successful experience of leadership projectsBe involved in client development activities and project pursuitsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering8+ years of associated experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in the engineering industry on bridge projectsMaster’s degreeMicroStation experienceWith offices throughout IA, KS, NE, OH and WY, JEO is proud to offer a robust benefits package designed to support and protect our employees and their loved ones.
