Senior Tax Accountant
Client is a multi-billion-dollar full-service single-family office based in MD. The firm provides investment and capital management for individuals, trusts, and tax-exempt entities within complex accounting
structures. The firm actively invests across public equities, credit, real assets, private equity,
and venture capital, focusing on fund, direct and secondary investment strategies that follow a

Job Description:
The Senior Tax Accountant will directly support the Tax Managers and the Tax Director in the
day-to-day operations of the tax department. The position provides tax compliance, tax
planning information, and insight to internal and external customers by recording, researching,
analyzing, interpreting, and reporting accounting and tax data. Duties of the position also
include assisting with research of complex tax issues, working with internal and external
contacts to update the monthly tax projection workbook. The position will be responsible for
maintaining tax compliance workbooks and checklists, helping to ensure this information is
communicated to both internal and external contacts, and is correctly reflected in both
internally and externally produced financial reports, tax work papers, and tax returns. The Tax
Senior helps mentor and develop Tax Accountants and Interns.
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA License
• 2-4 Years of diverse Tax Experience
• Experience with 704(c) and investment partnerships a plus
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• High Attention to Detail
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Highly Reliable and a Strong Sense of Accountability
• Extensive Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
