Pipeline Engineer

We are seeking a Pipeline Engineer to help on the design and analysis of subsea pipeline systems with one of our Operator clients. This role will work alongside one of the Senior Designers so that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The role is a contract hourly rate at $70 - $80 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and check documentation, including calculations, design reports, and third-party submissions.
• Support project execution, including route optimization, pipeline crossing design, and pipeline integrity assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Additional Duties:

• Contribute to pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, risk assessments, and project reviews.
• Assist with cost estimation, bid evaluations, and subcontractor selection.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and participate in design reviews such as HAZID and HAZOP.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Ocean, Civil, or related field).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry
• Working knowledge of pipeline design standards and design software
• Working knowledge of pipeline corrosion control and materials selection

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Subsea Engineering and familiarity with additional software such as Orcaflex and Ansys.
