Job Title : Investment Operations Associate (Temp to Hire)
Location : Century City (Hybrid)
Pay : $30-$40/hr (Salary upon conversion 62-85k)
Job Description :
A leading investment management firm seeks a motivated Operations Associate to support middle and back-office functions. Ideal candidates have institutional investment operations experience, with skills in pricing, security master, data integrity, reconciliation, OMS support, and settlements. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to work with internal teams and third-party vendors efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with senior associates to support the operations team
- Oversee functions such as trade settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, data integrity, and proxy voting
- Ensure accuracy in the OMS (Charles River) IBOR and manage client reporting
- Monitor vendor performance and troubleshoot daily operational issues across various platforms (Salesforce, ISS Governance, GWP, etc.)
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
- Onboard client accounts and ensure smooth setup and reporting
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, with a focus on global investment strategies
- Expertise in OMS and IBOR management
- Strong business judgment and analytical skills
- Experience with trade operations, investment accounting, and client statements
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and troubleshoot systems
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
