We are looking for a Director of Sales at our Corporate office in Schofield, Wisconsin. We are seeking a self-motivated, data driven individual with excellent communication skills and experience in our industry to lead our sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement the company sales plan across various operating divisions. Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives across business units.
  • Accurately report sales volume, pipelines, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Review & analyze data to forecast sales, determine profitability and targets, identify potential new markets, and ensure the profitability of products and services.
  • Provide leadership and motivation, assign territories, and set quotas for sales teams.
  • Coach and mentor sales managers to L&S's philosophy and expectations of company performance.
  • Collaborate with others including executive leadership, marketing, sales teams and other key stakeholders to develop growth plans for the organization, sales quotas, and strategies.
  • Meet with key customers, assist sales representatives with gaining an understanding of the customer’s business needs and objectives, negotiation, and closing deals. Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
  • Own the operation and functionality of the company CRM systems and facilitate utilization of key internal systems by the sales teams.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field.
  • 5+ years’ sales experience in a similar industry.
  • 5+ years’ leadership experience.
  • 5+ years sales experience in power distribution industry.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of our company’s products and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data driven problem solving capabilities.
  • Travel up to 20%.
  • Authorized to work for any United States employer.

Preferred:

  • Solid electrical background, knowledge of UL, NEC, NFPA in a similar industry.
  • Previous experience or exposure to operations and manufacturing.
