Position Summary
Captify is looking for a Platform Software Developer ready to take their knowledge of application development to the next level by creating solutions to support Captify's suite of patient engagement services. This role offers exposure to multiple technologies and opportunities to add your ideas. If you have experience in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Azure, Dynamics CRM, SQL, web development and/or system integrations and are ready to put those skills to work to make an immediate impact, this is the role for you. You must be a self-starter and comfortable working across the entire Microsoft technology stack and a variety of integrated technologies. Additionally, this fast-paced role will focus on enhancing current system functionality and decreasing technical debt.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work on projects to modernize platform functionality, particularly regarding Microsoft Dynamics CRM and omnichannel communications
- Creation and maintenance of Azure services
- Maintenance of Dynamics CRM platform
- Maintenance of API integrations with third-party vendors (primarily communication providers)
- Create and maintain documentation of system configuration, process, and integration workflows
- Assist with identification of performance optimization and automation opportunities
- Resolution of enhancement requests within stipulated timeframes to enhance system performance
- Implement technology upgrades to keep the organization at the forefront of industry advancements
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including other members of the technology team, company leadership, operations team, and project stakeholders
- Mentor and guiding junior teammates
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Must reside in the Kansas City Metro Area (commutable distance to our office in Lenexa, KS)

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or 4+ years of commensurate experience)
- 2-5 years' experience working in products related to this role (Microsoft Azure, Dynamics CRM, SQL, web development and/or system integrations)
- Experience in modernizing system and platform architecture
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes of technical issues and propose effective solutions
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating potential challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends
- Must pass background screening
- Technical certifications or work experience in one or more of the following:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Microsoft Power Automate
- SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or other SQL product)
- Database Administration
- Web Development (HTML, CSS, or other)
- Experience working tickets in an ITSM product (Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow)
