AM Line Cook at El Rey Court

El Rey Court's food truck, the Turquoise Trailer, is seeking AM line cooks. Hours of service are Wednesday-Friday 8am-11am, and Saturday & Sunday 7:30am-11am. The shifts are Weds-Fri 7am-12pm, Sat & Sun 6:30am-12pm with potential for more hours focused on prepping after service. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work product, possesses good time management, and prioritizes cleanliness standards. Current NM food handler's card required. All applicants must have a working phone and solid transportation for getting to get to and from work.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility
• Ensures organized and clean storage areas for all food
• Ensures that all food items are properly handled and stored at the conclusion of the shift Properly rotates inventory
• Prepares food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets
• Maintains clean and orderly storage areas and product pars
• Work with manager to create specials and other menu variations
• Perform various other duties as assigned

• Minimum of High School education preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role required

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player
