YOUR MISSION:

Position Overview

Responsible for the representation and sale of PUMA products with Key Accounts, based upon brand priorities for each account while managing, developing, and building upon sustainable and profitable businesses and account partnerships. Own the full PUMA Apparel and Accessories store business model on each respective Internet channel retailer including (but not exclusive to) Amazon, Zappos Inc and Rue Gilt Groupe.


YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

  1. Coordinate and prepare product sell-in presentations. Strong, strategic negotiation & presentation skills to drive influence, command attention, story tell, convince, gain support and close. Builds a strong case by linking PUMA product knowledge and know-how to customers’ interests, needs and goals.
  2. Proactive day-to-day account management of 10,000 UPC/ASIN Catalog, 500 Product Detail Page PUMA Digital Amazon and Zappos storefronts. Continual sales, forecast analysis to manage product replenishment life cycles, inventory models and rates of sale, using retailer data, trends/insights, and internal reporting, by account. Formalized reporting and analysis of all retailer metrics, trends, insights-sales, inventory, gross margin, customer data-via vendor wholesale portals. Identify opportunities to improve existing business, attack new business opportunities and quickly address business challenges/hurdles with well-thought-out solutions.
  3. Work in close partnership with and serve as a primary voice and advocate for all of their accounts with all internal PUMA Stakeholders and Cross-Functional Teams: Customer Service, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Sales Operations, Accounting, Credit to provide the highest level of “customer happy” service and product expertise from sell-in to on-site setup to sell-thru, driven by PUMA strategic goals.
  4. Drive Best-In-Class user experience on each respective retailer’s PUMA digital store; partnering to maximize ROI. Creative site/catalog brand content management. Walk the Amazon, Zappos Digital Stores; continually executing website improvements (variating products, bullet points, generic search key words), in partnership with PUMA Marketing, Amazon Vendor Management and Zappos’ teams.
  5. Execute Amazon New Item Setup templates in Vendor Central. Identify and resolve IDQ Issues, Item Suppressions, Blockers, Availability Signals, Contact Us Tickets, to drive product live on site.
  6. Monitor competitor’s activities and performance; implementing strategies and tactics to compete.
  7. Knowledge and discipline to adhere to distribution guidelines and deadlines.
  8. Partner with PUMA licensees to execute Full Family, Head to Toe PUMA digital store.

YOUR TALENT:

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

  1. BA/BS with concentration in Sales Management, Business Planning, Digital Marketing, or related areas preferred.
  2. 5-7 years of relevant experience with apparel, footwear, accessories Sales, Ecommerce national accounts, & Amazon Ecommerce/Vendor Central.
  3. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build lasting professional relationships.
  4. Impeccable communication skills (both oral and written) to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  5. Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects at one time and to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Must be able to adapt to changing market environments, priorities, and tasks with ease, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic situations.
  7. Strong analytical and retail math skills; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop and execute a plan.
  8. Very strong computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  9. Ability to travel to accounts, regional/national sales meetings and corporate offices as needed (at least 15% of the time).

The hiring range base pay for this position is $109,200 - $155,350 + Bonus + Benefits (Benefit Summary Corporate). Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Full Pay Range: $109,200 -$180,200.
