Summary
The Campaign Manager supports the mission of The Museum of Flight by managing all day-to-day aspects of The Museum of Flight's multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign. Primary responsibilities will include managing the responsibilities of volunteer fundraisers, scheduling and coordinating the activities of the various committees (Campaign Steering Committee, Board Philanthropy Committee, Gifts Committee, etc.), and coordinating individuals responsible for specific aspects of the campaign. Serve as operations lead for the campaign, ensuring it is well-organized and key staff are well supported. This position will be instrumental in managing campaign meetings, activities, and serve as support to Museum leadership in campaign related functions.

- Serve as day-to-day lead for campaign volunteers while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proper support.
- Provide planning, logistics, and support for relevant campaign meetings and events including scheduling, staffing, agendas, and resources.
- Create and oversee timely preparation and execution of campaign committee meetings, ensuring diligent follow-through with all volunteer solicitors and committee members and proper debrief and follow-up.
- Support Senior and Executive Leadership Teams in preparing for their campaign roles and donor activities, such as meetings, events, and presentations.
- Set month-to-month work plan design based on key metrics such as prospects identified and assigned, cultivation activities, solicitations (pending and upcoming), and funds raised.
- Develop clear tracking and reporting mechanisms for campaign progress and design reporting systems and cadence for various stakeholders.
- May work with internal or external prospect research resources to request, review, and integrate pertinent donor information into campaign cultivation and solicitation documents, strategies, and processes.
- Organize weekly campaign strategy meeting Including inviting attendees, sending agenda, preparing appropriate documents, taking notes, and ensuring post meeting follow up.
- Support gifts officers as central point for development and execution of campaign proposals, marketing materials, brochures, press releases, and donor recognition collateral.
- Work with internal departments, such as Marketing and Communications, to create or edit various campaign media, such as promotion, correspondence, and donor recognition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nonprofit management, business, or related or commensurate experience preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of nonprofit development experience with specific involvement in a capital or comprehensive campaign preferred.
- Deep knowledge of gift cycle and experience preparing gift solicitation strategies.
- Experience with and knowledge of fundraising software; clean data entry practices, data extraction, and analysis of key information to inform prospect strategy.
- Proficient knowledge in data management including consolidation, protection, dissemination, and analytics.
- Project management experience.
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks. and requests and meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office/365.
- Ability to achieve superior results working independently and as a member of the Museum's development team in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to demonstrate management of multiple, parallel projects, and competing priorities.
- Self-directed, self-assured, and comfortable interacting and working with diverse individuals and groups in a variety of situations.

Paid-Time Off
Our paid time-off plans include 2 weeks of accrued sick (80 hours) leave and 2 weeks of vacation (160 hours) per year, 10 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $79,000 to $110,000 depending on experience.
Should you receive an offer, please expect that it can fall anywhere within this range. A multitude of factors will determine a fair salary based on the following: scope of role within the organization, years of relevant experience, specific skills, and evaluation of capability to execute in role successfully (among other critical factors).
