We are a mission-driven consumer health company that provides avenues for content, community, and clinical support for optimization of mind and body. We are seeking a Senior Manager/Director of Data Engineering and Analytics to spearhead data-driven decision-making and optimize processes across the organization. This role involves overseeing KPI reporting and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure a robust and scalable analytics infrastructure. As a player-coach, you'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, working closely with department heads in operations, finance, marketing, and product to set priorities and manage the analytics roadmap.

Key Responsibilities Include

  1. Road mapping and Planning: Develop and manage the analytics roadmap, oversee capacity planning, and document deliverable requirements.
  2. Process & Standardization: Establish standards for documenting requests and ensuring uniform metric definitions and reporting.
  3. Data Engineering Collaboration: Work with Data Engineering to define and prioritize data needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  4. Player-Coach Role: Conduct analysis while mentoring junior staff in data analysis and reporting.
  5. Data Collection and Analysis: Create and maintain dashboards and reports and provide actionable insights.
  6. Data Interpretation and Presentation: Translate data findings into clear recommendations and ensure self-service capabilities for stakeholders.
  7. Problem Solving: Identify trends, anomalies, and provide insights for deeper business understanding.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy through regular audits and validation checks.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 5+ years in data analysis, preferably in eCommerce with 2+ years managing analytics functions.
  2. Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, LookerStudio, or similar tools; experience with statistics and Python is a plus.
  3. Excellent skills in conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking.
  5. Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
