Job Overview:

TMA is looking for an experienced Associate Director with expertise in integrated brand marketing to join our agency in Dallas, TX (hybrid) . This person must be a creative and strategic leader with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple clients.

The Associate Director will help drive the brand relationship, thinking and deliverables. They’ll meet stringent deadlines with a do-what-it-takes attitude, anticipate and solve problems, successfully delegate project responsibilities while retaining accountability for results, and manage, motivate and lead internal teams and agency partners. Experience with overseeing client services, strategy, operations, retention and growth for consumer service industry brand required.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as senior Client account liaison to drive Client relationship, scope of work, planning and multi-discipline deliverables across multiple client teams and verticals.
  • Team and partner development, management, mentoring and growth, and cultural representative.
  • Provide big picture oversight on brand positioning, objectives, strategy and legal considerations.
  • Drive integrated marketing that grows Client’s brand perception and exceeds Client’s brand objectives (ROI and KPIs) while remaining within budget.
  • Direct and oversee all account planning, strategy, testing/insights, creative development, Client presentation, campaign and project execution, measurement, and reporting.
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor account team, providing direction, input and approvals on all work, including strategy documents, briefs, POVs, estimates, timelines, presentations, creative, and reporting.
  • Support and in some cases, lead Client planning and presentations.
  • Budget planning and responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain account management succession planning.
  • Report status, needs, results, and successes to agency management.
  • Proactively grow account and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Senior level professional with 6-8 years account management experience in an agency environment, ideally within the business-to-consumer service industry space.
  • Minimum 5 years in supervisory role.
  • Expertise in brand marketing with comprehensive experience in integrated marketing, including traditional and digital marketing.
  • Excellent client partner and brand advocate.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and to deliver projects on schedule, on brand, and on budget.
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously in critical situations.
  • Travel as required.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft suite of products.
